Mdingi, who founded his fashion line in 2015, collaborated with local artisans to create intricate knitwear and dynamic silhouettes. He will receive a $100,000 grant and a year-long mentorship with Amiri fashion founder Mike Amiri. The prize supports emerging talents and promotes inclusivity in the fashion industry.
