Francetta Evans-Anfom is a music and festival blogger putting Afrobeats and Amapiano on the map in the UK. As the founder of the award-winning Dats Muzik blog, she covers everything from rising artists to major festivals, all while ghostwriting for architects by day.

She's based in London with roots in Nigeria and Ghana, and she’s always on the move—whether it’s VIP at a concert, crafting the next big review, or obsessing over tracksuits to survive the UK cold.

Oh, and don’t be surprised if you catch her geeking out over a Disney or Pixar classic.

Tell us a bit about yourself. What do you do? and what does a regular day look like for you?

"I’m 34 and grew up with entrepreneurship, music and architecture in my family. I have an award-winning Afrobeats to genres music & festival ‘blog of the year’ 2024/25. I started Dats Muzik blog because I noticed there weren’t many or any Afrobeat and Amapiano blogs in the UK. Loads in Africa, obviously.

In the mornings I do marketing and ghostwriting for architects and in the afternoon I focus on writing reviews for up and coming and established artists e.g. LaRizzle, FlavourTrip, P-Squared, Bella Shmurda, BNXN. Get to go to gigs, concerts and festivals as VIP- 50 Cent, Asake, Chris Brown, MicLowry, Scorpion Kings, DBN Gogo, Ife Ogunjobi, Cross The Tracks festival, Field Day festival and CitySplash festival to name some. Some of the artists have featured in Gangs Of Lagos film, Kiss FM, Ministry of Sound, Tirade World, Aprtment Life, Bella Naija, BBC Radio 1Xrra and more."
