Ashluxe x Fela Kuti - FW24 - Kalakuta Republic - Dreams do Come True
The Kalakuta Museum in Ikeja, Lagos, housed in Fela's three-story residence, captures the essence of Kalakuta Republic, Fela's self-declared independent state. The museum, filled with his personal items, commemorates Fela's life until his 1997 passing. Now in collaboration with the streetwear brand ashluxe, the Kalakuta show will happen on the 14th of December 2023, at Landmark event center, Lagos, Nigeria. The release date for the vinyl disc is January 26th, 2024.
