Not much to say today; the weekend was packed with small but enjoyable things. The one thing I kept thinking of is how awesome music is. The way different songs can evoke completely different emotions within minutes of each other, I'm always in awe of it. People make such beautiful music.
Speaking of which: Talking to the people we feature, who, honestly, are some of the coolest people; hearing how they think about art, fashion, music, photography, has a way of stretching your own perspective in ways you don't always notice until later. The interviews are real gems, and we're so glad we get to share them with you. This week we published a conversation with Cinthia Sifa Mulanga. We spoke with her about growing up between Congo and South Africa, how duality and layering shape her materials and her storytelling, why architecture and fashion carry as much meaning in her work as the figures themselves, and what she is building next.
